As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Chartered Financial Consultant® designee, Carol has nearly a decade of financial planning experience and a personal and fiduciary commitment to put clients first.
Carol loves working with clients who want to understand how their financial pieces fit together to achieve their goals. Carol’s background in defense logistics and financial management gives her a solution-focused mindset for helping clients think through the financial implications of their individual situations. She partners with individuals and families to understand their long-term goals, from the simple to the highly complex, while also coaching clients and collaborating with their extended team of outside professionals, such as CPAs or estate planning attorneys. This holistic approach enables Carol to create cohesive, tailored strategies designed to help clients reach their personal aspirations.
As a member of the first class to accept women at the US Naval Academy, she earned a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering and later returned to college for an MBA from Old Dominion University. She holds the following designations and securities registrations: CFP®, ChFC®, Series 7 and 66.
Carol has four children and nine grandchildren and loves to spend time with them as well as her Mother. A bit of a health nut, Carol enjoys exercising and is passionate about eating healthy. You’ll often find her on the move—hiking, kayaking, traveling, and playing pickleball. If you can get her to sit still long enough, she also enjoys playing board games.
